On y trouve, entre autres, un confessionnal en bois datant de l'an 1700 environ et des fonts baptismaux en pierre calcaire du XVIIe siècle."
A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 15 March 2026) informs: "Biron, église Saint-Pierre-aux-Liens. The church is listed in KIK-IRPA
https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10023732 -- Biron-sous-Soy, Biron-lez-Durbuy. Numerous remains from the Gallic, Roman, and Frankish periods. The village had a castle belonging to a lordship dependent on the court of Barvaux-sur-Ourthe. The Biron cemetery served as common burial ground for several rather distant villages, and Biron had a priest until the French Revolution. The church tower is Romanesque and seems to predate the documented history of the village. 1605: The chapel of Biron depended on the parish of Melreux. In the 17th century, the inhabitants of Biron undertook the construction of a (new ?) chapel. They built it on the summit of a rocky hill sloping steeply to the south. This building has undergone numerous transformations over the centuries. In 1874, the church was rebuilt in the Neoclassical style on the ruins of the previous chapel.
Baptismal register starts in 1688. 17th century, limestone baptismal font mentioned in literature. No image, not in KIK-IRPA"
