Noted and illustrated in Clemen (1899) as a baptismal font of the 12th century decorated with fpur human heads, similar to the one at Berrendorf.
The entry for this church in Kirchblick [https://www.kirchblick.de/Kirchen/StPeterKoenigshoven/index.html] [accessed 7 April 2026] notes that the old Cistercian monastery church became parochial in 1271. Font noted and illustrated April 2011 by Hans-Werner and Rita Mülfarth [Dlatblatt_St_Peter_Koenigshoven.pdf] [accessed 7 April 2026]: "TAUFBECKEN. Die Taufkapelle befindet sich links vom Altar. Das Taufbecken aus Blaustein im Maastyp ist 1 m hoch und 90 cm im oberen Durchmesser stammt aus dem 12. Jh. Das runde Becken mit vier Eckköpfen steht auf zylindrischem Fuß und vier Säulen. Die Felder zwischen den Köpfen sind durch vertiefte Kreisflächen verziert, von unten Eckblätter über den Mantel hinaufgreifend. Der Messing deckel (19. Jh.) mit gravierten Blumenranken trägt die Inschrift: Gloria Patri et Filio et Spirtui Sancto Amen."

Jh., rundes Becken mit vier Eckköpfen auf cylindrischem Fuss, die Felder zwischen den Köpfen verziert durch vertiefte Kreisflächen, von unten Ecklblätter über den Mantel hinaufgreifend.
