https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Michael_(Berrendorf) The Mosan Romanesque baptismal font from the 13th century is mentioned in Walther Zimmermann, Romanische Taufsteine am Niederrhein, in: Annalen des Historischen Vereins für den Niederrhein 155-156, 1954, page 497: "mit Mittelstütze. Wandung mit 3 vertieften Scheiben. Nicht erhalten." With central support. Basin side decorated by 3 recessed discs. Not preserved.
Paul Clemen, Die Kunstdenkmäler der Rheinprovinz, III, Die Kunstdenkmäler des Kreises Bergheim, 1899, page 424: "Taufstein 91 cm hoch, aus dem 13. Jht, aus Blaustein, mit teilweise eingemauertem, kreisrundem Becken. Vier stark vortretende, grob behandelte Eckköpfe, dazwischen in jedem Feld drie vertiefte Kreisflächen. Vgl. über diese am Niederrhein sehr häufige Art von Taufsteinen: Kunstdenkmäler des Kreises Kempen S. 16. Der Taufstein ist inzwischen zerstört worden." Also a drawing of this font on page 423."
