Scene Description: the composite image is made up of a current view of the chancel [lower half] and an earlier undated photograph of the same part of the church -- both of them show the bronze font in it, albeit in slightly different position within the chancel

The entry for this church in the Kirchengemeindelexikon [https://kirchengemeindelexikon.de/einzelgemeinde/zeven/] [accessed 25 March 2026] informs that Provost Luder Bramstede (in office1468–1499) donated the bronze baptismal font in 1469: "Propst Luder Bramstede (amt. 1468–1499) stiftete die Bronzetaufe im Jahr 1469. Die Parochie Zeven war möglicherweise gleichzeitig mit dem Umzug des Heeslinger Stifts hierher eingerichtet worden." The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St.-Viti-Kirche_(Zeven)] [accessed 25 March 2026] informs tha the 1469 baptismal font in it is signed by Ghert Klinghe but is actually attributed to his son, Hinrich: "Das 1469 gegossene bronzene Taufbecken ist mit Ghert Klinghe signiert, wird aber dessen Sohn Hinrich zugeschrieben."
