The entry for this church in MonumentalNet [https://www.monumentalnet.org/monumento.php?r=VI-053000800-MUN-IGL-ASU-NUE-SRA&seo=iglesia-de-la-asuncion-de-nuestra-senora-san-millan-alava-pais-vasco] informs tha the present church dates from the 16th century but retains the 13th-century portal of an earlier building, and reports a baptismal font of the Renaissance style in it: "pila bautismal renacentista". There is no cover present but the upper rim of the basin retains evidence of old cover anchorings.
