The entry for this church in Svenska Kyrkan [https://www.svenskakyrkan.se/lysekils-pastorat/lysekils-kyrka] [accessed 18 March 2026] and the entry in the Swedish Wikipedia [https://sv.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lysekils_kyrka] [accessed 18 March 2026] both report the present baptismal font as designed by Ernst Moritz Arndt in 1900 and made from a light granite from Malmö; it was was given a lower base in 1960. [NB: we have no information on the font of the original 16th-century church here].
