The entry for the present wooden font in this church in the Kulturmiljöbild, Riksantikvarieämbetet gives the date of the font as 1756: "Dopfunt i trä, daterad 1756." The entry for this church in Wikipedia [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bokenäs_Old_Church] [accessed 18 March 2026] reports a baptismal font made of wood and dated to the mid-18thC in this originally medieval church: "Dopfunten, skuren i ek, är från 1765". [NB: we have no information on the font of the medieval church here].
