The entry for this churchc in kirchen-online [https://www.kirchen-online.com/content/am-bodensee/brochenzell-_-st_-jakobus.html#ngaw7e420511263921cfe37648123456203] [accessed 13 March 2026] notes and illustrates a Baroque baptismal font of the first half of the 17th century; the finial of the cover made in 1889 by an Oberammergau artist: "Der Taufstein aus rotem Marmor mit sechseckigem Becken stammt aus der 1. Hälfte des 17. Jh. Die Taufszene im Nazarenerstil wurde 1889 vom Bildhauer Veit aus Oberammergau geschaffen."
