The entry for this church in Arteguias [https://arteguias.com/monumentos/iglesia-penacerrada.htm] [accessed 1 March 2026] mentions tha the base of the baptismal font is a re-purposed medieval remnant: "elementos medievales reutilizados, como el pie de la pila bautismal." The font consists of a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a torus-scotia-torus all around the upper basin side, and a pattern of mixed ribs (concave, convex, etc.) around the underbowl; the squat pedestal base [cf. supra] has thick piping all around. The basin itself could belong to one of the later restorations of the medieval church, the 16th or the 18th century.
