Baptismal font listed in Mackeprang (1941, 2003) as one of the group "Østjydske løvefonte, den klassiske type". Listed and illustrated in Danmarks Kirker [https://nmdanmarkskirkerprod.blob.core.windows.net/files/Aarhus_1799-1816.pdf] [accessed 28 February 2026] with reference to Mackeprang: "The large baptismal font with bi-corporate lions is one of the oldest items in the church. The baptismal basin of brass was made in South Germany and dates from c. 1550-75, stamped »RS«." 16). The Wikipedia entry for this church [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haldum] [accessed 28 February 2026] reports: "The church houses a baptismal font from the mid-16th century [cf. supra] and is made of granite. The fonts brass basin was made in southern Germany around the same time."
