A baptismal font made of limestone is reported in the chancel of the church in Onroerend Erfgoed [https://inventaris.onroerenderfgoed.be/erfgoedobjecten/11809] accessed 19 February 2026]: "arduinen doopvont met koperen deksel, nu in koor".
A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 18 January 2026) informs: "https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sint-Lambertuskerk_(Beerse). The first mention of a church building in Beerse dates back to 1187, when the parish rights were transferred to St. Wivina Abbey in Groot-Bijgaarden. Excavations revealed the foundations of a stone Romanesque chapel with a rectangular plan. In 1426, the church came under the care of St. Michael's Abbey in Antwerp. A later Gothic church was renovated and enlarged several times, including in 1550 and again in 1856-1860. The current church tower already stood in the 15th century, but without the tall spire, that wasn't added until 1888. Severely damaged during the iconoclasm of 1566, it was quickly repaired. 1575: Looting. The church burned down in 1730. It was only rebuilt in 1763. A new church was built between 1907 and 1909, retaining the tower of the old church. Baptismal registers start in 1610. The baptismal font is not listed in KIK-IRPA.
Sixteenth-century, octagonal limestone baptismal font in the Hainaut style."
