In the middleages the church was the meeting point for pilgrims on their way to Santiago de Compostela in Spain / Die Kirche Sankt Jakobi in Herford, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Deutschland. Im Mittelalter war die Jakobikirche eine bedeutende Pilgerkirche für Jakobspilger auf dem Weg nach Santiago de Compostela in Spanien."
