Baptismal font listed in Drake (2002) as a Bentheim font, 5. Sögel, Type IV. The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mitling-Marker_Kirche] [accessed 11 February 2026] reports a 12th-century baptismal font made of Bentheim sandstone featuring a double frieze of tendrils on the basi sides; the base has the usual four lions: "Der Taufstein aus Bentheimer Sandstein aus dem 12. Jahrhundert weist einen doppelten Rankenfries auf und ruht auf vier Löwen."
