The entry for this church in the Kirche Drelsdorf site [https://www.kirche-drelsdorf.de/kirche/kirchenführer/] [accessed 7 December 2025] describes the Romanesque granite baptismal font, 12th century, restored in 1972; cylindrical, slightly conical bowl, recessed at the bottom, with a conical stem on a square base. On the bowl's side, opposing rows of round arches with imposts are grouped into oval panels. The base features crowned corner heads (Evangelists) and larger and smaller round arches arranged in two superimposed rows. A brass baptismal basin, 17th century, is shaped like a round, deep plate with a slightly convex surface. An engraved frieze of tendrils with leaves and grapes adorns the rim. A handcrafted oak baptismal cover, also from the 17th century, features a six-part arched crown. The donor inscription reads: "Peter Nissen-Koster in Drelsdorf – 1749"; restored in 1972 by Peter Gloy, Emkendorf: "In der Nordostecke romanischer Taufstein aus Granit, 12. The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Marien_und_St._Johannis_(Drelsdorf)] [accesed 7 December 2025] reports a baptismal font of granite, a roughly-cylindrical basin decorated with a shallow-carved wimndows; plain tapering underbowl; raised on a square base decorated with four crowned heads said to represent the Four Evangelists. Jahrhundert." The basin is illustrated in a 1904 B&W photograph in the Bildindex [https://www.bildindex.de/document/obj20469923/mi04519a02/?part=0] [accessed 7 December 2025]
