Font Notes:
The entry for this church in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_PUENTEDEY.pdf] [accessed 6 December 2025] notes the Romanesque tympanum but mentions no font in it. Baptismal font consisting of a roughly-hemispherical basin decorated with only a roll moulding at the upper rim, on a plain cylindrical pedestal base; the basin is partially built into the corner of the alcove where is is located. No fontcover present nor is there any evidence of anchorings for it on the basin top. The font probably dates to a late-medieval modification of the original Romanesque church.
