Font Notes:
A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 16 November 2025) mentions an uncorroborated report of remnants of an old baptismal font that were lying outside the church. There is no church in Braunsroda now but a "St. Cyriacikapelle zu Braunsroda" was reported in Otto Dobenecker (Hrsg.): Regesta diplomatica necnon epistolaria historiae Thuringiae (1128 –1266 ). Band 3, Nr. 225. Fischer, Jena 1925.
