Font Notes:
The entry for this rural church ["ermita"] in the Enciclopedia del románico [https://www.romanicodigital.com/sites/default/files/pdfs/files/burgos_MOMEDIANO.pdf] [accessed 16 November 2025] dates it to the early-13th century but mentions no font in it. The bucket-shaped basin of stone is located on a wooden platform at the foot of the steps leading up to the west gallery; it is rather small in size, making one wonder whether it was originally intended for use as font or stoup; it has areas of damage and mass loss, and the stobe itself appears to be chemically eroding away. No cover present.
