Baptismal font listed and illustrated in Mackeprang (1941, 2003) in his chapter on De Østjydske Løvefonte, V. Smaagrupper og Enligstaaende, 4.De Langetungede. The round basin is decorated with bi-corporate lions; raised on a round-to-square base decorated with triangle motifs.
The entry for this church in Kirkerne i Hagested og på Tuse Næs [https://www.kirkernepaatusenaes.dk/kirkerne/horby-kirke] [accessed 15 November 2025] reports a 12th-century baptismal font of granite and previusly painted; it futher mentions the baptismal dish made of brass in Germany ca. 1550, decorated with tha Annunciation to Mary in the centre and a hunting scene all around it ["Hørby Kirkes døbefont af granit er fra 1100-tallet og har tidligere været bemalet. Dåbsfadet af messing er lavet i Tyskland omkring 1550. Motivet i bunden forestiller Marias bebudelse og rundt om ses hjorte, der bliver jagtet af hunde."
