The entry for this monastery in Klöster und Stifte in Rheinland-Pfalz - auf dem Weg zu einem rheinland-pfälzischen Klosterlexikon,
Ehemaliges Augustinerinnenkloster Vehn (Sinzig) [https://www.klosterlexikon-rlp.de/eifel-ahr/sinzig-augustinerinnenkloster-vehn.html] [accessed 10 November 2025] reports that a former hexagonal baptismal font, probably dating from the mid-13th century, is said to have stood in the garden: "Im Garten soll ein ehemaliger sechseckiger Taufstein gestanden haben, wohl aus der Mitte des 13. Jahrhunderts." A Romanesque font in the castle park is mentioned also in Kurt Bruchhäuser's Schloß Vehn und sein Verhältnis zur Kirchengemeinde Löhndorf [https://kreis-ahrweiler.de/kvar/VT/hjb1958/hjb1958.34.htm] [accessed 10 November 2025]: "Im Schloßpark hat ein Taufstein aus romanischer Stilperiode Aufstellung gefunden, der darauf hindeutet, daß schon vor 998". [NB: we have no corroboration of the presence of the font in the castle park now -- the castle and its grounds are now a private property].
