Font Notes:
An object indexed in the Archaeological Survey of Ireland under SMR No. KK025-002003- consists of two parts described as a font and a stoup; the 'font' is a square basin inside and out, rather rounded on the outside, and is made of granite; the 'stoup' is vase-shaped, polygonal on the outside and with a round inner well [NB: the identification as font and stoup is questionable].
A digital photograph of the objects together taken 18 September 2024 by A.-K. D. may be seen in Wikipedia [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Grange_Upper_baptismal_font_and_stoup.jpg] [accessed 26 July 2025]; the caption reads: "The rectangular granite basin is the baptismal font and the vase shape features is a stoup, made from limestone."
Another digital photograph of the same date and author [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Baptismal_font_from_Church_entrance.jpg] [accessed 26 July 2025] shows the objects in their surroundings and is captioned: "The baptismal font and stoup of Upper Grange as seen from the church entrance".
