Font Notes:
An 18th-century baptismal font and its cover are listed in Palissy [ref.: PM80001719]: "Fonts baptismaux [...] Marbre [...] Couvercle en bois. Belle vasque [...] 18e siècle [...] Emplacement de l’œuvre dans l’édifice Transept nord". A metal [cast iron?] object consisting of an urn-shaped container mounted on a supporting frame of the same material and located at the west end of the north aisle, is identified in one source [cf. ImagesArea] as a "cuve baptismale mobile" [unlikely, as it does not look very 'mobile'; perhaps a holy-water tank?]. [NB: we have no information on the earlier baptismal font of the medieval church here].
