The Hohenwerbig (Ev. Dorfkirche) site [http://userpage.fu-berlin.de/~engeser/potsdam-mittelmark/hohenwerbig/hohenwerbig.html] [accessed 8 February 2024] lists references for the baptismal font of Hohenwerbig in the following sources: Dehio/Potsdam: "Taufe, Sandstein" and Dehio/Brandenburg: "Spätromanische Sandsteintaufe, kelchförmig mit schwerer Kuppa." In Bau- und Kunstdenkmale in der DDR: "Taufstein 13. Jh." In Historisches Ortslexikon für Brandenburg: "Taufstein 13." In Gericke, Schleiff und Wendland (1974) as having a dodecagonal basin: "Von den alten Ausstattungsstücken sind bemerkenswert eine Sandsteintaufe, wohl noch spätmittelalterlich, deren Becken zum Zwölfeck gebrochen ist". In Pfeifer (1997) as dodecagonal and from the Transitional period: "Das dritte und äußerst sehenswerte alte Element ist der Taufstein, dessen mächtige, oben zwölfeckige Kuppa noch in romanische Zeit gehören könnte, wenn da nicht der Beckenträger wäre, (eine viel zu schmächtige niedrige Säule), so daß an eine Übergangszeit zur Gotik gedacht werden könnte."
