The entry for this church in the Czech Wikipedia [https://cs.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kostel_svaté_Barbory_(Valkeřice)] [accessed 7 February 2025] reports a late-Gothic font among the noted furnishings of the church; the church was demolished in 1975. [NB: the baptismal font is now believed lost but an 11 July 1975 B&W photograph in the Oblastní muzeum v Děčíně [https://www.znicenekostely.cz/objekt/detail/13936] [accessed 7 February 2025] shows workmen handling the surviving basin of what appears to be a large holy-water stoup [cf. Images area]], a roughly hemispherical basin decorated with a round moulding at the upper rim; the base is not in sight; it could from the 18th-century rebuilding of the church. Another photograph in the same source [cf. supra] shows an object inside the church, at all appearances the baptismal font, consisting of an octagonal basin with a rounded underbowl and an octagonal-to-square pedestal base; the basin sides and underbowl are decorated with tracery in which are inscribed varied floral and branch motifs; the photograph caption notes the date ca. 1975 and the source, the diocese, "Biskupství litoměřické". Another photograph from the same source [cf. supra] shows the baptismal font intact and topped with a round wooden cover with carved sides and top finial [cf. ImagesArea].
