Font Notes:
A B&W photograph taken in 1935 by Franz Queißer shows an octagonal stone font; its cover is reproduced in zanikleobce.cz [http://www.zanikleobce.cz/detail_img.php?i=94272] [accessed 1 February 2025] with the caption: "křtitelnice v kostele od roku 1824. Kostel pochází z roku 1679"; the font consists of an octagonal basin with plain vertical sides, a moulded underbowl and is raised on a pedestal base also octagonal and decorated with multiple mouldings; a wooden font cover is shown on the font, octagonal pyramidal with painted side panels; it has a large sculptural finial with the Baptism of Christ. [NB: we were not able to locate the whereabouts of the font and its cover after the demolition of the church in 1975; some sources appear to indicate that before the demolition date the church had lost most of its furnishings, but is no information about where the furnishings were taken].
