The entry for this church in LEX Danmarks Nationalleksikon [https://lex.dk/Gørding_Kirke_-_Esbjerg] [accessed 5 January 2024] reports a Romanesque baptismal font of reddish granite consisting of a plain basin on a base decorated with bow motifs at the corners ["Kirkens ældste inventarstykke er den romanske døbefont af rødlig granit. Den har en glat kumme, mens foden er udsmykket med særprægede, sløjfeagtige hjørneknopper."] [NB: the basin is not totally plain; it has a double parallel moulding below the upper rim, and a roll moulding at the bottom of the underbowl]. The Wikipedia entry for this church [https://da.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gørding_Kirke] [accessed 5 January 2025] reports a baptismal font made of granite from the Romanesque period that was originally by the south door but is now in the nave, by the chancel ["Døbefonten er af granit og fra den romanske tid. Døbefonten havde i begyndelsen sin plads ved indgangsdøren mod syd. I dag står den centralt placeret i kirkerummet."]
