Baptismal font of Gotland limestone noted and illustrated in Oeversee St Georg [https://www.roundtowerchurches.net/de/deutschland-germany/oeversee-2/] [accessed 31 December 2024] and in the Parish website [https://www.oeversee.de/nuetzliches-wissenswertes/sehenswuerdigkeiten/st-georg-kirche-oeversee/] [accessed 31 December 2024]; it had been replaced for a long period by a wooden Baroque font, but was later restored and re-installed in the church: "Interessant auch die Geschichte des wohl aus der Zeit der Entstehung der Kirche stammenden und heute wieder genutzten Taufbeckens aus gotländischem Kalkstein: es stand wohl mehr als 250 Jahre auf einem Bauernhof in der Gemeinde und wurde als Viehtränke genutzt. In der Kirche war bis 1968 eine Rokoko-Taufe aus Holz (von 1714) aufgestellt."
