There are two fonts in this church: the one in use is made of granite and consists of a roughly hemispherical basin raised on a round-to-square base; the basin sides are decorated with a torus-scotia-torus combination all around, the underbowl with a flat-rib pattern; it is raised on a round-to-square pedestal base decorate with a braided upper ring, while the esta is adorned with other patterns. This font ia located towards the east end of the nave, at the centre [cf. BSI entry for Stadil No. 1]. The second font is a now disused hexagonal wooden font with a raised cover, both in late-Renaissance style, dating from the mid-17th century; they are painted and gilded, decorated with carved figures and heads at the angles. The Stadil altar frontal is a magnificent Romanesque piece, covered in gilt and browned copper plates, one of the famous golden altars from ca. 1200; it is now installed as the centre piece of the main retable in the chancel.
