Noted in the Danmarks Nationalleksikon [https://lex.dk/Nødager_Kirke] [accessed 9 December 2024] as a Romanesque baptismal font made of granite and decorated with a rope moulding: "Døbefont fra romansk tid. Kirkens ældste inventarstykke er den romanske døbefont af granit. Den er udsmykket med udhuggede tovsnoninger." The tall basin is somewhere between cylindrical and hemispherical and has a rope moulding around the upper rim, another on the lower underbowl; there is a parallel incised groove all around the middle; it is raised on a squat round-to-square base of darker granite, the upper end decorated with a rope moulding. On-site visit: the interior of the basin has been filled with fine gravel.
