Baptismal font made of white marble in the late-14th century, noted in Burggrafenamt Südtirol [https://burggrafenamt-direkt.com/gemeinden/81-riffian.html] [accessed 29 September 2024]: "Auch der Taufstein in der Kirche sollte eine besondere Aufmerksamkeit geschenkt bekommen. Dieser stammt aus dem Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts, besteht aus wertvollem weißem Marmor und zählt zu den symbolträchtigsten Taufsteinen von ganz Tirol." The entry for this church in Riffian & Kues bei Meran [https://www.riffian.com/de-kircheriffian.php] [accessed 29 September 2024] describes the font as made of marble ca.1490, the basin decorated with Adam and Eve, a woman and two men with lions: "der Taufstein aus der Zeit um 1400, eine marmorne Schale mit Strickornament und Skulpturen (Adam, Eva, eine Frau und zwei Männer mit Löwen)" pentagonal font of ca.1390; wooden cover of 1910.
