The entry for this church in the Ev.-Luth. Kirchspiel Kohrener Land - Wyhratal web site [https://kirche-frohburg.de/startseite/unsere-gemeinden/kirchgemeinde-wyhratal/kirche-bubendorf/] [accessed 21 September 2024] reports a baptismal font of 1653 in this church: "Aus dieser Zeit erhalten ist der Taufstein (1653)". The entry for this church in the Kulturdenkmale im Freistaat Sachsen, Denkmaldokument 09257668 [Ausf_Dokument_09257668.PDF] [accessed 21 September 2024], however, gives the date of the font as 1623: "1522 (Kirche); bez. 1623 (Taufe)". The font appears to consist of an octagonal(?) tapering basin on an octagonal pedestal base; the basin may have some carving on the sides, below the upper rim.
