There is a reference to a 13th-century porphyry baptismal font in this church in an 1952 source [cf. infra], the whereabouts of which are unknown. A baptismal font made of oak in 1862 is the font in use in this church; it has a metal insert and a metal cover; listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10078777] [accessed 20 September 2024]: "fonts baptismaux [...] Date: 1862 - 1862 [...] hauteur: 132 cm [...]
A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 10 September 2024) notes: "The neogothic church was built around 1850. It replaced an older church, of which I find no information. No trace now of the whereabouts of this font."
