There is antry for this font in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/11050073] [accessed 18 September 2024] for a baptismal font made of "pierre de Meuse" in the 12th century, located in te Duke University Museum of Art in Durham, North Carolina: "fonts baptismaux [...] pierre de Meuse [...] Date: 1101 - 1200 [...] hauteur: 100 cm; largeur: 105 cm". The KIK-IRPA entry gives a reference to Ghislain (2009) and the provenance of the object as "Lambert[verzameling][Oudenaarde]". A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 15 September 2024) notes that it is "the Mosan Romanesque font sold by Sothebys in an auction in 2002. I contacted Sothebys, but they were not willing to share the name of the buyer. It was part of major Lambert’s collection, that was sold to the Brummers. Also Ghislain mentioned it in his article on the font of Wellen." [cf. supra]
