The 8 August 2024 edition of Nienburg Online [https://www.nienburg-online.de/aktuell/vereine-verbaende/objekt-des-monats-september-2024-ein-taufstein-von-1675-im-lapidarium-des-museums/1/1758/] [accessed 15 September 2024] selected for its 'object of the month September 2024' a 1675 baptismal font originally from Brinkum, in the Lapidarium des Museums Nienburg since August 1916: "Objekt des Monats September 2024: Ein Taufstein von 1675 im Lapidarium des Museums [...] So hat das Taufbecken von 1675 nur eine flache, schalenförmige Vertiefung, die ursprünglich vermutlich mit einer flachen Metallschale ausgekleidet war. Der gedrungene, kugelige Körper trägt die Inschrift „CATHARINA ELISABETH: MEYERS – PHILIP JOHANNES BREMER: ANNO 1675“, wohl die Namen der Stifter des Taufsteins. Rand und Fuß sind achteckig und deutlich abgesetzt [...] Im Eingangsbuch unseres Museums von 1916 ist jedenfalls belegt, dass auf Beschluss des Kirchenvorstands der Kirche zu Brinkum dieser Taufstein durch den damaligen Pastor Friedrich Ludwig Wilhelm Noltemeyer an den Museumskurator Fritz Heller aus Nienburg am 29. August 1916 als Geschenk für die Museumssammlung übergeben worden ist."
