Baptismal font of 1489 described and and illustrated in the Ev.-Luth. Kirchgemeinde Heidenau-Dohna-Burkhardswalde [https://www.kirche-hdb.de/geschichte.html] [accessed 14 September 2024]; profuselt decorated with tracery patterns and architecturak motifs; it bears also the demi-figures of six angels holding shields charged with the Instruments of the Passion: "Der Taufstein stammt aus dem Jahre 1489. Er ist als Sechseck in Sandstein mit durchbrochenem Maßwerk, Laub und Blumengewinde ausgeführt. Er zeigt in den Füllungen des Maßwerkes sechs von Engeln gehaltene Schilde mit den Marterwerkzeugen Christi." The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marienkirche_(Dohna)] [accessed 14 September 2024] reports a late-Gothic baptismal font dated to the late-medieval re-building of the church, 1489, in it.
