The fragment of a human head listed and illustrated in BALaT KIK-IRPA [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10012600] [accessed 13 September 2024] as a fragment of a "statue religieuse, statue humaine [...] fragment [...] Date: 1501 - 1600". A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 29 August 2024) deals with two fragments of medieval baptismal fonts originally from the Eglise Saint-Bavon of Chaumont [cf. BSI entry for Chaumont No. 2 for the other medieval fragment]: "There are 2 remains of limestone Romanesque Mosan baptismal fonts. It is not clear whether they are related. Indeed, to me the style seems different. 1) a broken head [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10012600] E-mail by Jean-Claude Ghislain on 27th of February 2022 : "D'après ce que j'ai appris il y a longtemps à propos de la cuve romane fragmentée de Chaumont-Gistoux, une tête est conservée au presbytère (photo KIK-IRPA avec datation erronée du XVIe s.). Sans aucune doute, la tête sur l’image est un fragment de fonts baptismaux du 12ième siècle." E-mail by Daniel Istace of 18th of August 2022: "Elle existe toujours et je l'ai vue hier dans la cure de Chaumont."
