Baptismal font noted in Tynell (1913). In Rydbeck (1936). In Trotzig (1989). Listed and illustrated in the SHM Medeltidens bildvärld [ref.: 900516F1] [accessed 1 September 2024] as a baptismal font made of sandstone in the 12th century, the figures on the basin akin to the work of the Mörarp workshop, but the base totally different: "figur framställningarna ansluter till Mörarpsgruppens men funtens form är helt annorlunda". The entry for this church in Svenska kyrkan [https://www.svenskakyrkan.se/bjornekulla/vastra-broby-kyrka] [accessed 1 September 2024] reports a baptismal font contemporary with the medieval (12th-13th century) church here, probably by the workshop of a master from Mörarp, who worked also in the cathedral at Lund; the basin has the figure of Christ and angels, and the base is decorated with arcades: "Kyrkans äldsta inventarium är dopfunten. There is a brass baptismal dish of the late-16th century.
