The entry for this church in Kringla Riksantikvarieämbetet [https://kringla.nu/kringla/objekt?referens=raa/bbr/21400000439816] [accessed 30 August 2024] describes the present font in use as made of sandstone in 1934, topped with a baptismal dish of 1653 [cf. infra]; the medieval font made of limestone in the 12th century has been in the history museum of Lunds University since 1923: "Dopfunten är tillverkad 1934 i sandsten med ett äldre dopfat från 1653. Kyrkans romanska dopfunt av kalksten, komstadsten, är daterad till mitten av 1100-talet och förvaras sedan 1923 i Historiska museet vid Lunds universitet." The entry for this church in Svenska kyrka [https://www.svenskakyrkan.se/skivarp/skivarps-kyrka] [accessed 30 August 2024] reports that the pewter baptismal dish in use is a 1635 [cf. supra] a gift from Christer Osterson.
