Baptismal font noted and illustrated in Putput [https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Taufstein-Stiftskirche-Muenstereifel.jpg] [accessed 22 August 2024]: "Taufstein Marmor/Holz (1619), Stiftskirche Bad Münstereifel". The baptismal font in use consists o a round basin decorated with scroll patterns on the underbowl, raised on a round moulded pedestal base with cherubs and foliage motifs, and a small square lower base or plinth; basin and base are in matching black marble. Tall wooden font with wall-mounted crane. [cf. BSI entry for Bad Munstereifel No. 1 for a fragment of the medieval font here].
