The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/St._Petronilla_(Handorf)] [accessed 21 August 2024] mentions a 13th-century Romanesque font made of Baumberg sandstone in this church; it is cylindrical and missing its original base: "Der älteste Ausstattungsgegenstand ist ein romanischer Taufstein, der vermutlich im 13. Jahrhundert gefertigt wurde. Das zylindrisch geformte Taufbecken ist aus Baumberger Sandstein gefertigt. Der vermutlich ursprünglich vorhandene Sockel fehlt."
