There is an entry for Monmouth [variant spelling] in the Domesday survey [https://opendomesday.org/place/SO5012/monmouth/] [accessed 18 August 2024]; it reports "1 church. 2.0 church lands" in it. Baptismal font listed in CADW [https://cadwpublic-api.azurewebsites.net/reports/listedbuilding/FullReport?lang=en&id=2784] [accessed 18 August 2024]: "Font apparently constructed of disparate medieval pieces." This is probably the font now re-purposed as a flower pot inside the church; it consists of a roughly round basin with bulging rib-like protrusions, much like a medieval grain measure, raised on a plain round pedestal base and a round-to-square lower base decorated on one side; it appears to be made of sandstone. Another font here, of Victorian design and decoration, is noted and illustrated in The Monmouth Marches Ministry Area [https://monmouthparishes.org/history/history-of-st-marys-priory-church-monmouth/] [accessed 18 August 2024]: "The Font of carved Portland stone and green Genoa marble was installed in the present position in 1982."
