Studied in Karina Becker (2006), especially on the details related to the inscriptions on it: hexagonal baptismal font made by Simon von Gizen and dated 1585 by an inscription; it bears on the sides images of the patron saint, St. Saturnina, the Four Evangelists, with their names, and the Neuenheerse coat of arms; one inscription has the Bibliical text of John 3, 5.
