A relatively modern font -17th-18th century?- having suffered considerable damage is shown in Mémoires et Histoire de Beynes [https://www.facebook.com/people/Mémoires-et-Histoire-de-Beynes/100064812905976/] [accessed 4 August 2024]. A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 25 July 2024) notes: "This month, the broken font of Beynes has been restored at the cost of 5.691,66 Euro by Mme. Barbara Donati and M. Philippe Donné. The word restoration is not correct, it resulted in a transformation. I don’t think the font is historically important, but it is a good example of what can go wrong!" [NB: we have no information on the font(s) of the medieval church here]
