The present baptismal font of the neo-Classical period was probably introduced in the mid-18th century re-building of the earlier church here; it is listed and illustrated in López de Guereñu [https://photo.araba.eus/s/photoaraba/item/66080] [accessed 26 July 2024]: "Pila bautismal de la iglesia de Santa María de Oyón. Vista frontal de una pila bautismal de estilo neoclásico. Es un recipiente semiesférico alargado con decoración acanalada en forma de concha y pie bulboso." [NB: we have no information on the font of the earlier church here].
