The battered basin of a medieval font is isted and illustrated in López de Guereñu [https://photo.araba.eus/s/photoaraba/item/66081] [accessed 26 July 2024]: "Pila bautismal de la iglesia de Santa María de Villamardones. Vista frontal de una pila bautismal muy sencilla; consta únicamente de la taza y está muy deteriorada". The roughly hemispherical basin appears to have had ribbed-pattern decoration on it but it is badly eroded and damaged.
