Church Notes: present building ca. 1500 with early-Gothic tower remaing from ca. 1220
Listed in Glesius (2013) as a late-Gothic baptismal font in this church. The font, brightly painted all over now, consists of three volumes: the tapering basin is octagonal and decorated with a single scotia; the pedestal of the base is a star-shaped column decorated with a rope moulding around its middle; the lower end has motifs simulating branch-ends; the lower base is roughly cylindrical decorated with mouldings and with niche-like cavities on the sides. The font cover is flat, round and plain, with a large turned-knob handle, also brightly painted.
