Noted and illustrated in Sankt Martin Linz Unsere Kirche [https://www.linz-kirche-sankt-martin.de/42089.html] [accessed 17 June 2024] as a baptismal font of the early-16th century here ["frühes 16.Jahrhundert in der St. Sebastianuskapelle"]. Noted and illustrated in Martinsweg am Mittelrhein [https://www.martinsweg-am-mittelrhein.de/sehenswertes/linz-am-rhein/katholische-kirche-st-martin] [accessed 17 June 2024] ["Der Taufstein aus der späten Gotik (16. Jh.) in Pokalform steht mit Pfeiler auf Sockel mit abgeschrägten Kanten"]. The font consists of an octagonal basin with moulded upper rim, otherwise plain, with a rounded underbowl; base octagonal at the top with a moulding, the lower base octagonal-to-square, with decorated chamfered corners. Low-dome metal font cover with a raised decoration across the top.
