The entry for this church in the German Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorfkirche_Prösen] [accessed 8 June 2024] mentions a 15th-century hexagonal cup-shaped baptismal font bearing the Von Pflugk arms; at somme point this font was replaced by a 16th-century baptismal angel that was in use until it was removed in the 1793 restoration of the church, at which time the old font was restored to its place. The angel is said to have been in the attic of the church around 1910, but could no longer be found in 1935 ["Der aus dem späten 15. The entry for this church in the Gemeinde Röderland [https://www.gemeinde-roederland.de/verzeichnis/objekt.php?mandat=79150] [accessed 8 June 2024] notes a late-Gothic baptismal font bearing the arms of "Gutsherrn Pflug aus Frauenhain" ["Der Taufstein ist spätgotisch und wurde vom Gutsherrn Pflug aus Frauenhain gestiftet."] The entry for this church in the EKM (Evangelische Kirche im Mitteldeutschland) [https://www.ekmd.de/kirche/kirchenkreise/bad-liebenwerda/proesen/proesen/evangelische-dorfkirche-proesen/] [accessed 8 June 2024] notes: "Der Taufstein ist spätgotisch (1475-1525), heute der älteste Teil der Kirche."
