Scene Description: Source caption: "La Iglesia, dedicada a San Pedro y de estilo románico, data del siglo XII y está considerada como una de las más antiguas de Araba/Álava. Su retablo mayor, fechado en 1615, está presidido por una imagen medieval de “Andra Mari” del S. XIII o principio del XIV. En 1458 alcanzó su apariencia actual. Y ya a principios del s. XVI se construyó la actual espadaña exenta, similar a las existentes en el valle de Kuartango."

Vista frontal de una pila bautismal con la copa lisa, el pie cilíndrico y la base cuadrada con ensanchamientos en los ángulos a modo de garras." The entry for this locality in the Auñamendi Eusko Entziklopedia [https://aunamendi.eusko-ikaskuntza.eus/en/urbina-de-basabe/ar-136358/] [accessed 15 May 2024] reports a baptismal font consisting of a plain basin on a round pedestal base and a square lower base; it further mentions a holy-water stoup mounted on a 13th-century capital ["Pila bautismal de copa lisa, pie cilíndrico y base cuadrada. Pila de agua bendita utilizando como pie fuste del siglo XIII con capitel con testas."]
