The entry for this church in the Austrian Wikipedia [https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pfalzkirche_Karnburg] [accessed 6 May 2024] mentions an octagonal baptismal font of the Gothic period in the porch ["Der achteckige gotische Taufstein steht in der kreuzgewölbten Vorhalle der Kirche"]. The remaining lead plugs for the anchorings of a font cover establish the original identity of the object, even though it is now used as stoup in the west porch.
