The entry for this church in Pays de Herve [https://www.paysdeherve.be/attractions-musees/LOD-A0-002T-1HGV&type=11] [accessed 29 April 2024] mentions a beautiful Romanesque baptismal font decorated with four human heads ["A droite du chœur, de très beaux fonts baptismaux romans décorés de quatre têtes humaines"]. The entry for this church in Cirkwi [https://www.cirkwi.com/fr/point-interet/1597521-l-eglise-saint-jacques-le-majeur] [accessed 29 April 2024] describes the font similarly and dates it to the 13th century ["fonts baptismaux en marbre, ornés de quatre têtes humaines et de style roman, remontent au XIIIe siècle"]. A communication to BSI from Pol Herman (e-mail of 27 February 2024) notes: "The font of Julémont was almost identical to the one of Clermont-sur-Berwinne, a village 12 km away [https://balat.kikirpa.be/object/10091341] They seem to be made by the same hand. I have not yet found a historical link between both churches."
